At Jokingaround.co.uk we want you to be delighted every time you shop with us.
Occasionally though, we know you may want to return items. Thats why under our 7-day returns guarantee, if for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you can return it to us in its original condition within 7 days of the date you received the item.
If there is any doubt as to if a costume will be suitable please note the following:
Upon receipt and before removing your item/s from their packaging please be aware of the following
Please do not remove tags, rip costume covers or cardboard inserts - we re not provided with spares of these. Items returned with tags removed or any packaging missing will rejected for a refund.
Please do not smoke, drink or apply perfume or deodorant whist wearing an item you are trying on as anything soiled or smelling strongly of smoke/perfume or deodorant will be rejected for a refund.
If your costume comes with accessories i.e. stockings or a wig please do not remove these from their packaging unless you have already tried the costume and intend to keep it. For hygiene reasons if such item/s have been tried on a refund request will be rejected.
We understand that items have to be tried on but to enable us to offer our customers the best service possible we ask that consideration is given to the above points and care is taken when trying items on.
By law, customers in the European Union also have the right to withdraw from the purchase of an item within seven working days of the day after the date the item is delivered. This applies to all of our products. To cancel your purchase within the seven-working-day cooling-off period, please fill out the delivery slip that accompanies your items giving the reason for the return as "contract cancellation". Please package the relevant item(s) securely and send them to us with the delivery slip so that we receive it within seven working days of the day after the date that the item was delivered to you. Please note that we cannot accept returns if you deliver them to us by hand.
For your protection, we recommend that you use a recorded-delivery service if the value of the return is more than 50 GBP.
Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the items to us unless we delivered the item to you in error, or if the item is damaged or defective. If we do not receive the item back from you with the delivery slip, we may arrange for collection of the item from your residence at your cost.
Items returned that have been dispatched on a free p&p basis (orders over the value of £40.00) will be refunded less an admin fee of £5.00 for up to 2 items or £2.50 per item if more than 2 costumes are being returned.
As soon as we receive notice of your cancellation of this order, we will refund the relevant part of the purchase price for that item together with the items normal postage charge--we cannot refund any priority, express or courier component of the postage charge.
